Privacy Policy
We built Tidoo with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. Here's exactly what we collect, and what we don't.
Last updated: May 31, 2026
🔒 Short version: Your tasks stay on your device. We never read, upload, or sell your task content. We only collect anonymous crash data to fix bugs.

1. Information we collect
Tidoo is designed to work without personal accounts. Here's what we may collect:
- Task data — Your tasks and lists are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, sync, or access your task content on any server.
- Anonymous usage analytics — Aggregated data about feature usage (e.g. how many tasks users create per day on average). This data is fully anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.
- Crash reports — If the app crashes, an anonymous report is sent to help us diagnose and fix the issue. This does not include your task content, names, or any personal information.
- Device information — Basic device specs (Android version, device model) used to reproduce and fix bugs. Not tied to any personal identity.
2. What we do NOT collect
We want to be completely clear about what we never collect:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- The content of your tasks, notes, or lists
- Your location or GPS data
- Your contacts, photos, or files
- Payment information of any kind
- Data sold to or shared with advertisers
- Any data linked to your identity
3. Third-party services
Tidoo uses the following third-party services that may collect anonymous data subject to their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services — Used for app distribution, updates, and optional in-app billing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics — Used for anonymous crash reporting. No personal data or task content is included in crash reports. Subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising SDKs, social login SDKs, or tracking libraries.
4. Data storage & security
All your task data is stored locally on your Android device using the device's secure storage. We have no server-side access to this data whatsoever.
If you uninstall Tidoo, all task data is permanently deleted from your device. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices for any anonymous analytics data we do collect.
5. Children's privacy
Tidoo is suitable for all ages, including children. Because we do not require accounts or collect personal information, the app is inherently safe for young users. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13, and in fact we do not collect personal data from anyone.
6. Your rights
Since we don't collect personal data tied to your identity, most standard data rights (access, deletion, portability) apply to data on your own device — which you control fully. You can:
- Delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or going to Settings → Apps → Tidoo → Clear Data
- Opt out of crash reporting by disabling it in the app settings
- Contact us with any privacy concerns at privacy@tidoo.app
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact us

Tidoo is committed to your privacy. We built this app for people, not data collection. If anything in this policy is unclear, please ask us.
