Frequently asked questions
Tidoo is free to download and use. We also offer a Pro plan with additional features. There are no ads and no hidden fees — you only pay if you choose to upgrade.
Yes — a free account is required to use Tidoo. You can sign up quickly using your Google account. This lets us keep your tasks synced and backed up securely.
Yes. Because Tidoo requires a Google account, your tasks are automatically synced to the cloud. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, simply sign in and your data will be restored.
Tidoo works on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and above. This covers the vast majority of Android devices in use today. If you're experiencing issues on a supported version, please contact us at bugs@tidoo.app.
To delete your data completely, you'll need to do two things: (1) Delete your account from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. (2) Uninstall the app. Deleting your account removes all your data from our servers permanently.
Most of Tidoo works offline — you can add tasks, check them off, and manage your lists without a connection. An internet connection is needed to sign in for the first time and to sync your data across devices.
Android sometimes restricts background activity and notifications for apps. Try these steps: (1) Go to Settings → Apps → Tidoo → Battery → set to "Unrestricted". (2) Make sure notifications are enabled for Tidoo in Settings → Apps → Tidoo → Notifications. (3) Disable battery saver mode if it's on. If the issue persists, please email us at bugs@tidoo.app with your device model and Android version.
Yes — an iOS version is coming soon! We're currently focused on making the Android experience perfect, but iOS is actively in the works. Send us an email at hello@tidoo.app if you'd like to be notified when it launches.
Email us at bugs@tidoo.app with a description of what happened, what you expected to happen, your device model, and your Android version. Screenshots or screen recordings are super helpful. We take bugs seriously and typically investigate within 24 hours.
